Children Rescued.
Lives Saved.

Every day, children between the ages of 5 and 12 are sold into sex trafficking. Help us fight back.

Nepal's Unseen Battle

Nepal's sex trafficking crisis ranks among the worst globally, with tens of thousands of children sold into sex work each year. These children are forced to serve from 3 to as much as 40 men per day. The average life expectancy of these girls and boys if not rescued is just 34 years.

Our Mission in Action

Project Saved stands against the scourge of child sex trafficking in Nepal. We fight this crisis directly through preventative operations, targeted rescue operations, post-rescue care, and educational support to empower survivors to rebuild their lives.

Our co-founder, Martin van Blerk, at one of our safe houses in Kathmandu, established to give the poorest and most vulnerable children an education and a future.

Behind The Project

Project Saved was founded in 2023 by Martin van Blerk and Andrew Cannon. Although relatively new, Project Saved has already seen incredible success by collaborating with local authorities and partners to rescue over 3000 young women and children.

By 2030, we aim to rescue, protect and educate over 100,000 children each year.

Answers to FAQ

What does Project Saved do?

Project Saved is dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking in Nepal and across the world. We conduct rescue operations, provide immediate care and shelter, and offer long-term rehabilitation and education to empower survivors and those at risk with a brighter future.

How can I help or get involved?

You can support our mission in various ways: by donating funds, volunteering your time if you're in or near Nepal, raising awareness in your community, or advocating for policy changes that protect vulnerable children. Visit our "Get Involved" page for more information.

Where does my donation go?

100% of every donation directly supports our rescue missions, safe houses, medical care, psychological support, and educational programs for the children we save and protect. We ensure complete transparency in our operations and spending, so donors know the impact of their generosity.

Are my contributions tax-deductible?

Currently, we are in the process of finalising our charity status in the USA, UK, NZ and AU. Once complete, all contributions from these countries to Project Saved will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. We provide receipts for all donations that can be used for tax purposes.

How does Project Saved ensure children's safety and recovery?

We prioritise the safety and well-being of every child we rescue. By providing immediate medical care, psychological counselling, and education, we not only address their immediate needs but also work towards their long-term recovery and integration into society. Our team are trained to handle the sensitive nature of the trauma children and young adults have experienced, ensuring a nurturing path to healing.
